Grooming Your Cat

I try my best to brush my cat everyday. Uuggh the amount that comes off of him (orange tabby)..
Anyway, he has some matts.
Any advice on how I can get rid of them?
I don't want to hurt him while brushing?
Anyone have this problem?

Re: Grooming Your Cat

my persian gets bad matts- even though he is groomed professionaly

he gets them under his chin- and the only thing that gets them out is me pulling them out slowly
