Growth sono question
The tech estimated DD's weight to be 6 lbs 8 oz (at 36 weeks 2 days).
She said this was normal/average, but she also said that in her opinion and experience (obviously she is not a doctor) babies usually gain less than 1/2 lb per week from now on, unlike what I have read/heard (that babies gain from 8 to 16 oz. per week in the last 4 weeks).
Has anyone heard this before?

I read an ounce per day, so that would mean 7ozs on average per week. That is weird.

That's pretty much what I figured. So another 25 days = another 25 oz, almost a pound and a half.

That's what I was 
I say my DD will be a week late  and 8 lbs 3 oz.

At my growth sono my OB said that 1/2 lb per week gain is average in the last month and don't be surprised if the weight they estimate is off by 15% in either direction.
At my 32 week growth the tech estimated 4lbs 11oz
At my 36 week 6lbs 7oz

DD was 5lbs 2 oz @ 34 weeks.. I had her full term 1 day before due date and she weighed 8lbs 0oz.. They had told me it was 1/2lb a week and they were pretty accurate..
