Growth sonogram..is this normal procedure??

Growth sonogram..is this normal procedure??
I am almost 7 months and my doctor has sent me for a "growth ultrasound." She said it was to check to see if the baby was growing at the proper rate. Is this something that is usually done or should I be concerned that something is wrong?? Did anyone else have to have this done?

It's normal! I'm having one done at 27 weeks to check the size of the baby. I also had one with Caiden, well actually a few since he was so big!

Yup completely normal. They check to see that everything is growing proportionately.
