Re: Growth sonos- How accurate?
I had quite a few growth sonos due to my GD (every week starting at 34 weeks). My last one a week before DD was born estimated her at 5lbs 4oz, she was born 6lbs 11oz. I'm pretty sure she didn't gain over a 1lb in one week. So I guess it was close to accurate, but not spot on.

Re: Growth sonos- How accurate?
I had a growth sono at 33 weeks and they estimated was 4 pounds, 11 ounces. They guessed she would weigh 8 pounds full term, she was born one day early and weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces...

Re: Growth sonos- How accurate?
Mine was pretty far off. At my 40 week appt they measured DS at 10 lbs 10 oz - I had him later that afternoon and he was 8lbs 11oz.

Not even close. They had Abby at close to 8 pounds. She was 6 pounds and 3 ounces. WAY off.

Re: Growth sonos- How accurate?
The day before I delivered my DD they told me she would be 7lbs 1oz. The next day when i got to meet her she was 5lbs 15 oz. So for us it was off by a little over a lb.

Re: Growth sonos- How accurate?
With my DD they estimated her to be 9lbs 15 oz...she was born the day after teh sono at 9 lbs 14 1/2 oz. It was right on the money.
This time around I had one at 36 weeks and they estimated him to be 6lbs 9oz. At may appt. last week the doc. kept feeling my belly and said he feels big. So who knows. I guess we will see on Monday.
