GRR. Why does my kid imitate...
RAY CHARLES when she is eating?!?!?!
I am getting so frekkin frustrated. She will NOT SIT STILL for a bottle unless she is falling asleep. I tried giving her something to look at etc and nothing works. I feel like I get a work out from trying to keep the bottle in her mouth.
I am also trying very hard to switch her to the medium flow nipples bc I figured maybe she is getting bored cause the formula isnt coming out fast enough. She wants NO PART of that. She literally takes a whole huge mouth full of milk and spits it right out and cries. I try at least once a day. She is not choking on it at all...she is just being a diva and doesn't like it.

Jen I never switched DD to a med or fast flow nipple. She had the slow flow from until the day she graduated to a sippy cup.

Re: GRR. Why does my kid imitate...
jen she's at the perfect age where she wants to focus on everything she shouldn't
i had to feed DS in his room with the lights dimmed sometimes or he wouldn't eat - i also had to make sure he was almost starving or else he wouldn't settle down.
they outgrow it, promise

Re: GRR. Why does my kid imitate...
Jen - I definately think it's a phase... Samamtha just started doing the same thing, and she's a week younger than Sadie. She's noticing so much more now that I think she gets very easily distracted. We just switched her 2 days ago to Level 2 nipples because I was getting so frustrated with it taking her over an hour to take a 5oz bottle She was also starting to have major hissy fits when eating and I think it was because she wasn't getting the milk fast enough. She still does the looking around, but at least the bottle is getting finished faster!
