Grrrr!!! I need to vent!
I have a wedding in an hour and I dont want to go. Its a family wedding so I knew my sister was coming which I can deal with but my mother just now tells me that my sister is bringing her sleazy boyfriend and I have always refused to be around him and them.(they had previously told me he wasnt coming) . He repulses me and I can not stand to even look at him, or them together.
We went through this once before that my mother told me at the last minute and she just did it to me again. I am soooo angry- partly that I feel set up. And partly because I have to spend the little time I have to be with my own family with people I would not choose to spend time with. I have to birng my son to my IL's overnight, so I can go to this wedding.
I know it sounds silly, but I am literally in tears over this.

I'm sure you don't want to lie, but can you say that your ILs are sick and can't watch DS, so you don't have a sitter?
Or you can be truthful and say you had a huge breakfast and couldn't bear to eat another thing!!

Oh that sucks....you gotta go to the wedding cause you don't want to bow out on the bride and groom at the last minute. Try to sit on opposite sides of the table and ignore him as much as humanely possible
Or get drunk and let him know how you really feel

me too, although trust me I dont need to get drunk to do that. We went to the church and the ice was broken. So I think I will be OK at the reception. Thanks everyone for letting me vent!

I know how much you hate him , I feel so bad for you. That stinks.
