Grrrr, why is it when I take off of work...

to wait for someone to show up, they either do not come, or they come really late

My windshield is supposed to be getting fixed. They were supposed to come to my house, so I took off half the day and they are still not here. I have been on hold w/ the company for 10 minutes already!

In the event they push me off for another day, does anyone have a place they used to replace their glass that's a bit more reliable?

You should be able to have them come to your job. I did that twice, I couldn't possibly take a day off for a windshield.

I would just have them come to your work, you only have to go out for a minute and they do it and lock up your car for you. I can't remember who i used, sorry.

I only work part-time, and with the range of time they give there would be no guarantee they would come when I am still working. That's why it is better for them to just come to my house.
