GRRRRRRRRR can I vent about DS 1st bday party and RSVP
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH, love planning parties, hate chasing people down for RSVP's. DS party is in a week and a half, invites were sent out on September 1st, the RSVP date is the 30th. Granted these people have 2 more days, but come on, I gave them 2 options to rsvp (via phone or email). But a freakin month is not enough time to figure out if you have something to do that day?? And its always the same freaking people (on DH side). Its not 1 or 2 people, its like 4 families and 2 of DH's aunts.
I told DH if they dont call by Wednesday I am going to the place on Thursday and finalizing everything without them.

Stacy, I hate when people do that. We had to do that for DS's b-day party and for DD's Baptism.

I'm still waiting for 20 people to RSVP to our wedding. The RSVP date was March 1, 2006.

I'll be on your "B" list!!!!!! I didn't know you then but you can retroactively invite me, as per Code of Federal Regulations, 20 CFR 404, Subpart P.
I try to cut people slack on RSVPs because I can be guilty of being a little bit late getting back to people at times 
(That really is a code section that I use at work. It does not mention RSVPs but we can lobby Congress  .)
