Gucci presale going on now....
Rumored to not have as much stuff as last year - Americana has a lot of good stuff right now. Sale hits June 5th I believe. If interested, go now :)

They are doing the presale now - they have all the sale bags out on the counter - they had some nice leather ones and monogram canvas ones. You'd get the sale price before June 5th.

40% off leather.
Canvas bags were around $439 (down from seven hundred and change)..

I just got back from the Americana...it was swamped! I managed to get a beautiful, leather bag for my mom's bday. I honestly don't even think anything will be left when the actual sale starts!

All runway pieces aka patent leather and metal, and all embroidered, and straw. I was told that none of the signature pieces were going to be on sale. Is everything supposed to be on sale?

It's strange - you get different answers different times and it stinks. Sometimes you just have to make repeat visits and start off describing what you like and see if they pull something out of the back. If you just go up and say "I want sale" they point to the table of rejects. If you say "I"m looking for something like this specifically..." they might be able to "all of a sudden remember that beautiful monogram canvas bag sitting in the back room on hold for someone that didn't come pick it up"
