IMO, Gucci sunglasses provide less protection from the sun than $20 sunglasses you can buy at Tri County.
I bought a pair at Saks off 5th last year (I got them for a steal thanks to a coupon) and ended up returning them ASAP. it felt like I wasn't even wearing any sunglasses

I bought a pair of BCBGs that have the opening on the side of the lens, and I thought it would bother me...it doesn't!

If you look at the glasses they are clear on the bottom which means no tint.
