yea its crazy! i just was there the other day.. but he never said anything to me because it was not "official" i guess.
i am so confused now as to where our ER will be, and transfers.. and figures i just started the IVF process.. i feel so uneasy right now. i know i shouldnt be though

i dont even know what that one is.. i wrote him a email yesterday and it makes sense now that i haven't gotten a response. i thought something was up.. and i was right!

I'm so happy for him, he seemed really excited yesterday. He said he couldn't say anything sooner because it hadn't been finalized. If you don't have any eggs that were already retrieved I would assume its not going to effect you at all. Don't worry Dee. Dr B would never leave you hanging out to dry. E-mail him, I'm sure he will put your mind at ease.

He said nothing much will change...just the name. But the facility for the procedures is still going to be in the city (57th and lex). He said they stole embryologists from NYC and RMA..I think. Not too sure on the details.
I'm in the middle of a cycle, so I assume I'm just finishing it up with SIRM. If I end up with anything to freeze, I don't know where they'll end up. But the office in woodbury is staying, so we'll know where he is :)

From what I have heard...he is now with
American Fertility Services in Manhattan
He's a partner there and has control. His Long Island and Bayside offices are HIS though.
I think he said yesterday that we will all be getting a letter in the mail to explain the changes.

That confuses me...if he's part of an exisiting practice, why would it have a different name?

What about the insurance thing and all the tests? I just had some tests done last week and dh is still waiting for an appt to do his SA at Quest...I'm so confused...

I am confused myself. When I was there yesterday he told me the name was going to change to Braverman Immunolgical and Reproductive Medicine but a girl on another board told me that he told her he was hooking up with American Fertility Services. I think maybe just for the ER and ET procedures? Don't worry...it will all work itself out, we are still in great hands.

Is it weird that I'm panicking right now?? What is going on?? I totally don't get this and want to cry. I'm excited for him because he obviously is making great career moves, but what does this mean for me?? If anyone has any info, can you please FM me?? Thanks!!
