Guess who's flipped...
I had my 36 week visit today, complete with an internal exam  , and we are very excited...
Our baby girl flipped and is now head down!!! I know the exact moment she did, it was last week in the middle of the night and I woke up from it and swear she was coming out through my belly button like in a scene from Alien.
So here's the news:
I now wait to go into labor on my own and will try to VBAC. She weighs approximately 6 lbs. 3 oz. now and doc said they can expect to gain 1/2 lb a week, so that would still put me in a good weight range to VBAC. However, they will monitor her size very closely, if she does get too big (over 8+ lbs), we'll lean towards a repeat c/s for a few reasons.
If I don't go into labor on my own, we may give one week beyond due date to see, but doc will not induce due to my prior c/s. Plus if I go late, she might be too big anyway. anything after 41 weeks will be a repeat c/s.
I have the max amount of amniotic fluid right now, plus a 6+ pounder and the best news is that as of 36 weeks, I have only gained a total of 20 lbs. YEAH ME. Not that I was a good weight to begin with, but the weight gain was good for me this time and I am happy about that.
I tested negative for Strep B.
I am only fingertip dialated. With Andrew I never dialated or effaced, so this is more promising.
And I got more sono pics. she is just like Andrew, has incredibly fat cheeks! I can't wait to squeeze them!
I am now going once a week and will pray she stays head down and doesn't gain a ton. I hope to make it to May, my April at this point is just too busy
