Guest at a wedding question...

I have a friend's wedding on Saturday. I know it is going to be hot... I am thinking I want to have my hair done since I have super curly hair and by the time the reception begins it will look crazy.

We are going to the church OOT and then have time in between with nowhere to go- so I can't fix myself up much...

Is getting my hair done ,too much? I was thinking a low chignon of some sort- but don't want to look too "fancy" since I am just a guest...

What do you think?

Go for it! You'll feel great having it done and not having to worry about it curling up on you.

Re: Guest at a wedding question...

i think it's a great idea and as long as you don't go too crazy with the up-do you should be fine.

Definitely OK - go for it!

I have a wedding on Fri - if I had time, I'd be getting my hair done....but I don't! The wedding is at 6pm about an hour from here, and I'm working til 4.

Re: Guest at a wedding question...

Chignon would be perfect. I have a wedding in August that I'm doing that for (I'm just a guest). If I blow it out it will look like crap 1/2 hour later. If I put it up myself it will look like crap too. So, I'm getting a non-fancy "updo" so it will look nice and be cool. Have fun!

Re: Guest at a wedding question...

That sounds really nice. I have gotten my hair put up lots of times for summer weddings when I'm just a guest. It's so much easier and looks so much nicer.
