gulfstream financial inc.... dont be fooled!!!

ok so my Dh just got a letter in the mail saying we won $250,000 but before we can claim the money they broke us a check for $4,880 that covers taxes and we need to put it in out account 1st then send them the money via money order-western union. they said DH entered a contest at either home depot or walmart 3 months ago and he knew he didnt cause DH is not for entereing contest in stores and giving out info. i knew from the get go it was a scam but DH got all excited and wanted to call and see what was up so i let him. they didnt ask for any personal info. just the claim # on the paper. then i told him to google the company and sure enough all we found was things on it being a scam. so just wanted to give you girls all a heads up to be careful if you get something in that mail with a check that looks VERY real to do research before you cash anything!

wow that is crazy that would have been a way for them to get your checking account information I bet and then do some major damage. i am glad that you told him to check it out firt!
