Gunk in her eye
My 3 week old DD woke up this morning with some crust in her eye. It didn't seem to be bothering her at all and I just took some warm water and wiped it off. Should I call her pediatrician? Should I wait too see if she gets it again tomorrow morning?

She may have a clogged tear duct, I would call your doctor!

DS had the same thing at exactly 3 weeks. They said it was a clogged tear duct. I didnt have to take him in. I called the ped who said use a warm compress and massage the corner of the eye a few times a day.
I did that and it went away in about 4 days.

my dd had the same thing..it went away in a few days

My dd did too... except she also had a little crust and puss... she had an infection and is on drops.. so I would just double check with your ped

DD got this at 8 or 9 days old - we got drops from the pediatrician and it was gone by the next day.
