Re: gym-locker room protocol

Ewww...no one sees anything. I'd rather go in a stall and change.

Re: gym-locker room protocol

I cover up, but don't usually pay to much attention to other people. Unless someone is under the hairdryer or at the mirror putting on makeup buck naked. Chat Icon

Re: gym-locker room protocol

I cover up. Yes, it's a locker room, but IMO it's still a public place. People can run around naked in the their own house for all I care, but in a locker room you should at least be somewhat discreet! Like, turn around or something.....
At one gym I belonged to, this lady would stand there naked and slather herself in lotion all over her body. Other women would blow-dry their hair while topless Chat Icon

Re: gym-locker room protocol

I was on a swim team since I was 6... I have mastered the practice of getting dressed & undressed into a bathing suit without exposing myself. I don't understand why other people can't do this!

And as a lifeguard for years at an indoor pool with a lockerroom--
I never understood how women just walk around so freely... It totally grosses me out.

I especially loved when women would use the blow dryer to blow dry "themselves" dry. I used to gag.

OMG! I have totally mastered the dress and undress without exposing too much. I don't get it how people walk around naked! YICK!!

After the gym DH and I used to compare the grossnessChat Icon
The mens lockeroom isn't any better, DH tells me about guys that talk to each other naked, shave, and just walk around with their guy hanging out loose.

I HATE this! I am such a private person and get SO uncomfortable in situations like this. Especially when they TALK to you like that! Chat Icon Yoga classes were the WORST with this...Chat Icon

Re: gym-locker room protocol

I prefer to change in the shower stall.

Once when I walked into the the locker room, I was greeting by this lady's wrinkled naked a$$ leaning into her gym bag on the floor. I wanted to stab my eyes with a pen after that sight.
