Gym or Kickboxing in Medford or Huntington area...?
Does anyone know of any good gyms with classes or a kickboxing place in the Medford or Huntington area? I used to work in Babylon and went to Planet Fitness there but it is not convenient to my new job or my house. I really love kickboxing but the classes can get pricey. Any recommendations?? TIA

Thanks for the tip, what is their pricing like? Also I have been to classes wher they do kickboxing w/out any sort of bag and gloves... I didnt like it. Do you use bags & gloves?

Finet Fitness looks great and they have good classes. Only problem, I live on the North shore and work in Medford so sounth of sunrise is a bit out of my way. Thanks for the tip though, I wish it would work

East coast Black belt academy in Middle Island. I've been going there for classes and it is only $5 a class. I've been doing zumba and kickboxing there.

I pay approx $65 or $75 a month and I can go as many times as I want (based on the schedule). They have a.m. and p.m. classes. Weekends there is only one class per day (7:45 on Sat & 9:00 on Sun)
We use gloves and punch the air throughout the class, however, the instructors walk around w/pads and we punch those. On Tuesday nights, there is a "glove" class where you punch w/a partner for a portion of the class.
it's a very energetic class that focuses on core, cardio, weight training, etc. I think you can take a trial class if you're interested. I love it, I've been going there for almost 10 years.

How bout Patchogue .. there is Ultimate fitness , they have good classes otherwise finest fitness in Patchogue
