Gymboree Class ending =( ... tipping?!?!
Does anyone do/get anything for the teacher at the end of a "semester" at Gymboree? This Friday is the last class for my DD and I and was wondering if I am supposed to show up with anything!?!?!

I never did although I did write one teacher we really liked a thank you card. I don't believe I saw anyone tipping.

We haven't done gymboree but we've done Music Together and I didn't see anyone tipping.
Like the pp said, we pay enough for the classes!

wheh...believe me..I agree..but I didnt want to walk in empty handed if that was the norm!

I never tipped, but we have never really stopped so I think I may give a gift when we actually stop attending classes.

we never did. if you want, write a nice card or get the teacher a cute, funky pair of socks (since they can't wear shoes).

I have never seen anyone tip at Gymboree.....Though I would imagine it would be much appreciated if you did.
One person owns allllllll the Gymborees on LI and Manhattan.....She is rolling in the dough (Gymboree has not been affected by the economy) but I do not know how the instructors are compensated.
