I just got a letter from my gyno that she is moving out of state. I need to find a new practice. I prefer a practice that has at least one woman. I live in the ronk/holtsville area any referrels would be helpful.

Women's Health Professionals
They have 2 maybe 3 women and 2 or 3 men. I have seen 2 of the women & 1 of the men all of whom were very nice.

I'd prob. recommend Dr. Marin if I had to.

They have offices in St.Catherines in Smithtown & Stony Brook.

I second that!

My doctor left and I needed to go to a someone else. I went to Dr Bakshi and he is wonderful. Made me feel very comfortable.

I go there but Dr. Zucconi left so I am thinking of switching to another pracitice. I'm not too thrilled with the other doctors there.

pumpkin,
when you went there, did you see michele mayer? she is the NP, she's also a midwife and she is AWESOME. i worked for gus san roman, who is the other dr in that office for 5 years, from 1998-2003 and would recommend him and michele in a heartbeat to anyone. dr brenner became her own practice in that office a few years after i started working for him. personally, i'm not her biggest fan - at all. but if you went as a patient of dr san roman, you could see michele or loriellen, his other np.

i would also recommend them. my mom worked with dr earheart for years and years at the hospital (she was an L&D nurse for 30 years) and he's her number 1 rec as a dr. i also know that abby has an awesome following, people love her.

I use Dr. Deborah Davenport. She is off 25A in East Setauket. She is great and afiliated with Stony Brook. There is a practice with other doctors as well. But I see her.

I go to Oakdale ob/gyn, I used to see Dr. Mitchell Goldman (the father) but he retired. So now I see Dr. Bakshi (male) and Dr. O'sullivan who is also really good. I have also seen there NP Renee and she is a sweetheart! Very clean nice professional practice.

That's why I switched. I swear one time I waited 2.5 hours. I understand sometimes there will be emergencies, but it was happening every single time!
