had IUI on 1/5 and a quick ?
my boobs have been really sore. Can this mean I am pg? or can it be a side effect of the medicine

Are you on progesterone? That is definitley a side effect of progesterone.

i am not on any medication now.
eta: should i be on progesterone? why are some people and others aren't?

Unfortunately, when it comes to IF or TTC for that matter .....any symptom you get will make you think you are. And I mean ANY! Sore boobs, cramps, twinges, nausea, pimples, etc.
You def. could be. If your IUI was 2 weeks ago, isn't your AF due any day? If you are late, you can probably test and find out for sure.
