Had miscarriage and now Pregnant...

How long did you really wait and what were you adviced. I was adviced to wait 2 cycles but the wait is killing me but im nervous to jump the gun and put myself at risk again. Does this have any realation. I was only 8 weeks along based on LMP but 5 weeks based on sono. Thanks for any advice you have.

i had 3 very close friends have miscarriages and all were advised to wait 2 cycles also. I understand your anxious, but don't put your self at risk!

I was told I couldnt get prego B/C of my uterus . I had my MC @ 5 weeks and I got prego 3 mnths later

i didnt wait, i tried the next month, got pg and had a healthy baby boy 6 months ago.
I was ready to try again, some people arent emotionally ready right away. Aside from what the Dr recommend, you have to feel comforatble.

Since I m/c naturally I was told I just needed to wait a full cycle or two before trying again. I pretty much tried right away (my theory was if it happened then it was meant to be) but I didn't get pg again until the 3rd cycle (so I guess that's when my body was ready for it).

Well, I had 3 M/C's...August 2005, October 2005 and January 2006. When I went to the GYN she told me (well, I actually overheard her outside my room talking to the nurse) that I got pregnant too soon after my first miscarriage. After she very rudely told me this I stopped going to her and starting seeing an RE who told me it doesn't matter how soon you get pregnant after a m/c. She said most doctors will tell you to wait for emotional reasons not physical.

i had a miscarriage on sept. 4th and got pregnant on oct. 10th with DS. It is advised to wait but I know many that haven't and have had very happy healthy babies.

I had a miscarriage and needed a D&C. It was extensive because they weren't finding all they needed to and as a result my uterine lining was thinned a lot. Therefore my OB had me wait three cycles to give my uteris time to thicken back up. It then took me a few months after that to regulate and ovulate again. We got pregnant right away once all was working - total 7 months from the D&C. I'm now 25 weeks pregnant and everything is going great.

I'm sorry to hear that you are nervous about your sono. You may have ovulated later than you think, try to stay optimistic.

I misscarried and got PG the next cycle with my DS.

I had 2 miscarriages. I waited one cycle between each attempt at pregnancy.

M/c'd naturally at 5.5 weeks, conceived my 1st DD 3 weeks later.

My doc told me the waiting period is mostly for emotional healing and to date the pg.

I had two miscarriages (1 D&C) and my doctors told me I did not have to wait...they actually asked me why I would want to wait. It is all for emotional not physical reasons. If your body is ready to get pg again it will.

I had a D&C and therefore was told to wait three cycles to make sure that my lining would build itself up again. I would have to say that it took about that to get pregnant again.

Now I have a two year old son and am pregnant with baby number two.
