Had my 1st internal this morning
. . . and nothing, nada, zip. No progress whatsoever. I'm not dilated at all and my cervix is still pretty far back. Well, it looks like it'll be a long 4 weeks for me!
FYI, the internal wasn't bad at all. She did the Strep B test, which was just a culture of the cervix (thankfully, no butt involvement). And the internal is her simply using 2 fingers to feel my cervix for dilation/thinning, etc. The internal is nothing to worry about ladies!

That stinks...hopefully things will start moving along. Glad to hear it wasn't bad though...i'm not looking foward to it.

Thanks. I was hoping to hear at least fingertip dilated. Oh well. There's always next week. I've gotta start doing squats.

I wish! Would you care to give my hubby a pep talk? He's convinced she can see everything that's going on.  He's a little dim-witted when it comes to the female body. Gotta love him though!

I had no idea that butt involvement was even a possibility!
Sorry to hear that you havent made any progress, but I'm glad to hear that the internal wasnt traumatic.

Yuck.... I forgot to mention that there was butt involvement with my doc and my Strep B test.....

Doesn't it suck hearing that there is no progress Erica???? I had my doc and the nurse  cuz of my reaction.... Soon.... Soon....

It was such a let down. I totally feel pressure on down below, generally, when I walk, but it's just deceiving. Lies! My body is feeding me lies!
