Had my 38th week check-up today...
Still no dilation, but the dr said my cervix was softening. He wants me to come back for a 3rd growth sonogram next week. Isn't that a lot?

Is your baby measuring big/small? My dr. doesn't even do grown sonos until i'm late (unless they are concerned based on how my belly is measuring)... i've never had one.

I had them with my DD from 37 to 40 weeks. Also the fetal non-stress test.

At 36 weeks our baby was measuring at 6.14 pounds, with 4 weeks left I guess that would mean he'd be around 8 pounds. Maybe the dr just wants to make sure our little  doesn't have a big growth spurt or something.

Don't be alarmed....I just had one yesterday at 38w bc the Dr wanted to check his weight (he was 5lbs 7oz at 34w) & now is 6lbs 13oz.
