had my first internal and strep today
it wasn't bad at all. I'm not dilated at all but baby's head did drop and he's about 6 lbs at 36.5 weeks

So exciting!
I had mine on Tuesday. Can't believe it's only a few more weeks to go!
Internal wasn't so bad. a little uncomforable then it's over. My cervix is closed too and the baby's head is down

Oh wow!! and he's in position!!! woo hoo!!
Can you believe I have not had a single internal yet?? I'm 38 weeks on sunday!!! I'm scheduled for a c section the week after next. they did the strep 2 weeks ago. But still no internal. I keep thinking it's coming and then it never does. Maybe this week?? IDK.
Also, my baby was about the same size at that point. The following week was 6.9 and now I'm at 6.12

You might not be getting one since your C is scheduled. Mine is too, and my doctor said no internals!
