Had my one hour glucose test today
And the drink was YUMMY. It tasted like fruit punch and was not sweet at all. I just hope I pass so I do not have to do the 3 hour one (I have heard that the drink for that one is twice as sweet)
Also, confirmed with the doctor that unless this baby decides to come early, I will be induced on March 22nd (11 more weeks  )

Hope you pass....I failed my 1 hr.... I am so not looking forward to the 3 hr.
Why are you being induced early?

Due to blood thinners that I am on. I cannot have an epidural with the medicine that I take. They are inducing me after 39 weeks so I can stop taking the blood thinners in time to get an epidural

I know and it is funny because when I had my first u/s, they had my due date as 3/22.....my doctor did not change my due date because it was only off my 5 days as compared to my due date based on my LMP. Looks like I will be having her on my "real" due date after all

Yes, the drink for the 3 hour test was alot sweeter than the 1 hour test, but to me the first one tasted pretty sweet too.
The three hour test was just annoying, i brought a book to read and didnt go to the lab i normally go to, i went to one in plainview and it was empty so it was a peaceful 3 hours, the worst part of it was getting the blood drawn 4 times, after they hit your once in both arms, the other two pricks of the needle really hurt, then i went to my regular dr after and he felt he needed to take more blood, i was in so much pain!
