Had the scariest appt today at the OB but ended on a happy note!
I had my 16 wk. appt today. They were supposed to do a routine check and than some blood work to finish up the ultrascreen testing. Well, of course the dr couldnt find the heartbeat with the doppler. They could barely find it at my 12 wk appt but luckily I was going for the ultrascreen sono after. I was by myself b/c I didnt expect this and DH usually comes with me to the sonos. So they had me get a sono. I sat in the waiting room for about 10 min. scared as hell, ready to cry. Thinking what if they do the sono and there is no heartbeat. I was ready to cry and what made it worse was that I was by myself. Luckily they did the sono and the first thing I saw was the heart beating  The dr said my uterus may be tilted and that is why it is hard for them to pick up the heartbeat on the doppler. I hate those things now!
On a happy note, DH and I had decided we really wanted to try and wait to find out what we were having. We found out with DS but wanted this one to be a surprise. As the sono tech was doing the sonogram, I asked her if she could see what the sex was. She said she didnt think we wanted to know and I said yeh, I just want to know if you can see yet. Just as she moved the wand it was clear as day...no mistaken...we are having another BOY  I said well I know what we're having and she confirmed it. I couldnt tell with DS, I had no idea what i was looking at...this time the legs were wide open and it couldnt have been more obvious  My little man definetely isn't shy! I started crying b/c I was so happy for DS to have a little brother. I guess there will be no pink in this house anytime soon! I was kind of upset DH wasnt with me when I found out but it was clearly an accident. I never thought I would be able to see anything. So she printed out a picture and wrote "its a boy" on it and I gave it to DH as soon as I got home. He is on his way to completing his football team!

That is so exciting. I have two boy - two years apart and it's so cute to watch. Love my boys. Glad everything is OK.
