Had to put my kitty down and my other kitty is so sad

A few days before Christmas I had to put my 22 year old family cat, Cinnamon, down. It was so difficult, but it needed to happen. She wasn't eating and unable to walk. She was hiding under my bed. So my dad and I took her and she is at peace now.

But, my 6 year old cat Ollie isn't the same now. For days he walked around and looked for her. I tried to talk to him and tell him that she is gone, but I'm not sure he understands. Now, he just wants to be held all the time or sleep. I guess I just have to wait for time to pass so he gets used to her being gone.

Awww I am sorry for your loss. My dog Sandy is the same way. We had to out Toby to sleep back in Oct & she hasn't been the same since. She is just starting to come back to normal now.

I'm so sorry the other animals get just as attached as we humans do! In time, he'll get better!

I am so sorry for your loss and for your other kitty. In time, I'm sure it will get better although it sucks now. Just try to give him lots of attention.

I am so sorry for your loss.
My cat passed on 12-15 . It was awful.
My other cat was walking around crying. I give him extra attention. I called the vet , and they told me by getting a new cat it will help all of us. We adopted a new kitty- and it has helped all of us a lot.
Word of caution, do not go to rainbowbridge and leave your speakers on. I did and cried non stop for 3 days.
