how long do you keep a hairbrush?
what do you do with the old one when you get a new one??

I usually keep it for about a year, maybe a little more. I toss it after I buy a new one.

even if it were an "expensive" brush?
i spend $25 on some brushes....i cant imagine just tossing it! though i read this is what your supposed to do - i just dont know if i can.

I'd say about a year - even for the expensive ones. It just starts to lose its "touch."
