Hair conditioner...........
I used to have very healthy thick long hair, and went to a place that over processed my highlites, since then I have gone someplace else, but my hair is still so dry. I used to use Hair and Mane conditioner and it worked great until this, then switced to Paul Mitchell, then L'oreal Mega Moisture, and Bioloage, and it works for awhile and then my hair feels like straw, maybe I should use a hot oil condtioner with the conditioner, what do u suggest and what is a good conditoner for really fried hair... thank the Lord my new hairdresser was able to fix my highlights, and by looking at it you would never know my hair was so dry........

You need to stick with Biolage. The hair mask. It works wonders. I get compliments on my hair all the time, and I get my hair highlighted with 2 different colors. My hair is very soft and there is no breakage.
I also give my hair a hot olive oil treatment once a week.

Re: Hair conditioner...........
The same thing happened to me and I found that Neutragena's Triple Moisture Hair Recovery Mask worked miracles!! I could feel the difference even when it was still wet. You can get it anywhere, it's $7.00 and it lasts a while.

Re: Hair conditioner...........
John Frieda's for blondes hair repair...it's like a heavy conditioning hair mask...and then make sure you add a leave in conditioner before you blow it dry, and then use a smoother...defrizzer syrum.... it helps....
vo5 makes those hot oil treatments that are really easy to use, I think they're good...but I've also heard really good things about using mayonaisse...basically coating your hair in mayo, and leaving in on for a little while, and then shampoo and condition normally....I've never done it though....

Re: Hair conditioner...........
i just bought from the salon loreal intense moisture hair masque
i use the smallest amount and my hair becomes instantly detangled and soft.
it cost me $30 but i use it every other day and i just love it- and a little goes a long way
its worth every penny, ive tried many many brands- this is working the best on my straight coarse hilighted hair Image Attachment(s):

Re: Hair conditioner...........
i just found this
A hot olive oil treatment is always an option. To do an olive oil deep treatment follow these instructions:
Use extra virgin olive oil which can be purchased at the grocery store.
Heat just enough oil to cover your hair (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup of oil depending on the length of your hair) in the microwave until warm (but not hot).
Carefully apply the olive oil, with your fingertips, to the ends and dry parts of your hair. If your hair is naturally oily, avoid applying the olive oil to the hair closest to your scalp or your bangs.
After you have applied the olive oil, put on an old shower cap (the oil may be hard to remove from the cap so use one that you can throw away).
For a deeper treatment, wrap a hot towel from the clothes drier around the shower cap and leave on your hair for at least one hour. Wash the olive oil out with a mild or moisturizing shampoo and then apply a conditioner. Do not over shampoo your hair. One good application of shampoo should be all you need to remove the oil. It is best to let your hair air dry to maximize the benefit of the oil treatment.
It is best to do the olive oil treatment on a Friday or Saturday and never right before you are going out. This is a messy treatment. Sometimes it is best to apply the oil in the bathroom. Have some clean rags available to wipe up any accidental spills or drips.
If you want the same results as the olive oil with less mess, try Aveda's Beautifying Oil. It is more expensive than olive oil, but works wonders on dry ends.
