Hair Funk!!
i need opinions. I'm feeling BLAHHHH with my hair. i don't really want to cut it, b/c i always put it back, anyway- so that won't make a huge difference. But, i want to do something about the color. i don't like it as 'yellowish' as it is, but i can't decide if i want to do a lighter blond (all light with no highlights), light highlights w/ a mix of low lights, or a Darker color. 
Honest Opinions!! ( i can take the heat  )

(this was taken a few weeks ago- gives a decent idea of how it looks right now)

I agree but would probably layer it. I should add that I'm hair impaired & should not be giving hair advice.

I'm hair impaired too.. thats why i have to post a public to poll to make a decision about it
i have long layers in the back, that i love... i'm probably going to have them angle it around my face a little more too, so it doesnt look sooo drabby

I think a darker more auburn color would look great as well as long side swept bang-ish thingies!

I think you need warmer tones to your hair..so I suggest lowlights in caramel and brown tones. it'll brighten up your already beautiful complexion too. and perhaps some layers to give it more volume?

For my wedding, the girl suggested reddish auburn for the base and they hilite/lowlite with brown and blonde. I was like "NO WAY". watching the video and the compliments I got and still get are amazing. Its not drastic dark and light colors but that combo blends very well together. The sun picked up so much color from my hair that day. My hair was the exact same color as yours. It really looks great. I think if you based your color with brown it would be too dark for your complexion. Try the red/auburn tones and then mix the hilites.

Neener definitely go to Vanessa at Maximus in the Source. She is a color goddess and will definitely know what to do. I say go a bit darker to even it all out and then add highlights.

see i was thinking of going darker/reddish auburn-- but then when i think about not having blonde hair anymore, i get Sad  yeah, i'm a loser

Im a wimp. I was *really* considering going darker,,, but then i got too sad at the thought of not having blonde hair  I had red/auburn hair for a few months in college (by mistake- someone had switched the color in the box!!!!  But, coincidentally, that was what i had when i met DH, but i digress....)
It looked nice, but i felt like i was impersonating someone else
So i decided *i think* to go with Porn Star Blonde
ehhh if it looks bad, its always easier to go from light to dark than dark to light.

usually to William Matt in CP, but, my girl left there, and i lost her #... and she was the only reason i didnt mind paying as much $$$$.
i actually made an appointment with a colorist in Amityville (one of my supervisors has been going to her for years, and i always LOVE her hair, so i'm going to give her a shot).
