Hair help!

I have awful highlights that are making my hair look fried out and gross. I plan to have it dyed soon back to my nice dark color.

Haircut question, my hair is fine but I have a lot of it. It is so fried from highlights, I want something that will make my hair look full but not too short bc I am in a wedding soon and need to put it up..please help! pics?

Layers. I have fine hair but tons of it and that's what I usually do. It gives it volume while keeping the length. It IS kind of a pain for updos though.

Re: Hair help!

i agree layers... idk how long your hair is, but maybe try keeping them a little longer for the wedding, and then you can do shorter layers afterwards, because they can be a pain for an up do like PP said...

ETA - also once you go back to dark, you hair might look better to begin with. I noticed when i toned my highlights down last winter and went darker, my hair looked much healthier...

Layers are what you want. I have both long and short going on. My hair is very thin, but I have a ton of it and it's heavy. I just layered the whole thing like crazy. So much more volume. I am instantly reverting the slight bang I did. But I always do.
