Hair loss after baby
I know its very normal for some hair loss after having a baby... is there any way to prevent or slow this down? Any special vitamins that you can take?

mine was falling out until around 6 months. It was ridiculous. I was told there is nothing you can do. I finally decided to cut my hair to my shoulders, it didn't help but at least it was not so much on the floor.
But eventually it will stop.

well then.. see i read this thread lookint for something useful too.. THIS idea is a little out of my budget
seriously though.. my hair is coming out in clumps! 
i refuse to cut it tho.. *shrug*

it's not really hair loss from what i understand.
when you're pregnant you lose much less hair. your body holds onto it, so you're not losing the "100 strands" a day.
after pregnancy your body sheds those extra strands. so it's not that you're suddenly losing hair--you're losing the hair that should have been lost over 10 months of pregnancy.
mine started at 3 months PP and ended a month later. i honestly didn't notice a difference in my hair at all.

i had tons of hair falling out until 10-11 months PP....dr said it was normal for up to a year after birth!
