Hair Salon in the Whitestone area
My hairdresser in Suffolk moved and I was willing to drive out there. Now that we're in Queens, I would rather stay local. Any recommendations?

I see Sandra at Intercession. Only problem is that she is due to give birth in April/May, so you may need to see someone else. You can give her a call though if you are going now and she can recommend someone else to see in the meantime. I think she is only taking a few months off. I heard there are some good people at Christie's in Bayside and Hair on 14th.

Another Whitestone chick here! We just moved from College Point last week.
Sorry I can reco a hairdresser though, I go to Franklin Square (why I dont know)
I have been to Hair on 14th and they are okay.
Weve discussed Christie's in Bayside before on this board - they are just not nice people in there.

I am new to the area also and I went to Studio Z on bell 2 weeks ago
I got a great hair cut and really liked the place- I think I use Stephanie
it was $50 for a hair cut

I used to go to Hair on 14th loved the way they did hair. But, stopped because the travelling there was becoming a pain. I'm in Nassau.

So do I  I LOVE Sandra...Since Sandra is pregnant - she has been cutting her hours little by lilttle - so when I can't get in with her I see Lisa...
I don't recommend Christie's - they are way OVERPRICED and the longetivity of their haridresser's is NOT long...they are constantly chagning in there...plus the owner is a real WITCH

I go to Sandra too! I love her - she did my hair for my wedding!

Whiteston chick!!! BElla's Beauty salon in bayside, right next to the auburndale train station, she's an ex stylist from christie's and co and she's amazing

I can recommend a great place in Fresh Meadows. International Haircutters. Go to Jeanne for coloring and Valerie for a cut.

I have posted about it before- I love Hair on 14th. I go to Penny. I do cut and color there. Everyone is always very nice there.
