Hair Salons in the Babylon/Islip area
I am looking to get my hair CUT.
Its long, thick and I want to make sure whoever does it knows what they are doing.
Im going to go to my shoulders.
Can anyone recommend a great place/person to go to?

I go to The Studio as well and my stylist is Lisa. My hair is long, thick, curly and wavy and she gives me awesome haircuts. I followed her there from another salon.

I have been going to The Salon by the Bay in Lindenhurst basically since they opened. I have had cuts from everyone that works there and they never do a bad job.
Plus they are very affordable AND email coupons from time to time. I just got one yesterday for 20% off a cut if I go in on Sunday with 2 of their stylists.
I would make an appt. though because they are frequently busy, and can't fit in walk-ins.

I like the makeup studio for hair styling. I tried hair cuts there a couple times and gave up. They are a little "nose up" in there for me and never got my hair right. Also messed up my eyebrows so bad it took months to grow them back.
They did however do my hair & make up for my wedding and i was very very happy.

I use Katie. Been going there for about a year and no complaints. Very reasonably priced and she does a fantastic job on my very curly, long, frizzy hair

To all that recommended James at The Makeup Studio....THANK YOU!!! L Ve HIM!! Had my haircut with him this past saturday and loved it! I went from medium length hair to short hair (the kind that's long in the front and short in the back). I would totally going back to him

Yay! He's awesome. I've been using him for years. I used to go to him when he was in Patchogue and followed him to Babylon. If he ever leaves I will cry!
