half inground pool recommendations

DH and I want to have a half inground pool put in. Our neighbors had one installed by Island Rec and they said they were great. But when I searched them on LIF i saw horrible reviews. does anyone else have any companies to recommend? and if you wouldnt mind telling me how much it cost for pool and installation? im looking for a 24x15 pool.

Thanks!

DH and i looked into a few companies. So far Brothers 3 had the best quality pool but a little expensive and also Dunrite had good prices. We still didnt get the ppol yet because we decided to do pavers first...maybe next summer.

Re: half inground pool recommendations

We just bought a pool from Harrows this year and had it installed in late May. Our pool is oval (15x24) and we choose the above ground install.

Harrows doesn't handle the installs, but they provide names and numbers for two different companies that they recommend. The install cost for above ground was $900 and semi inground was $1500 plus the cost of a small dumpster (approximately $500). We had a great experience with Harrows and the pool install went well!

Hope that helps.

Re: half inground pool recommendations

I bought my pool from Backyard Masters and had it installed by an independent contractor - Michaels Pride (#631-696-8691).

We were very happy but be prepared for a mess. All that dirt has to go somewhere Chat Icon

We also used McCarick Irrigation and Decks to build a trex deck and we couldn't be happier.

Let me know if you have any questions.
