Halloween costumes

I keep it simple and dress DS in costumes that are more like clothes (ex- Army - camo shirt and pants; Skeleton- Pajamas)

This year, I am having trouble with the costume. I saw a cute fighter pilot costume that I thought would be perfect but DS does want to wear a one-piece.

He doesn't like masks or hats. I feel as he gets older-it's harder to find a simple costume. (size 4 or 4t)

If your DC is wearing a costume- do you keep it simple? What is your DC's costume?

He was Spider-Man last year and will be again this year (we bought it a size bigger) and its a one piece, he will probably fight is getting dressed but should be ok once it's on I hope. He will not wear the mask though.

You could do almost any super hero but just buying the T-shirt. It doesn't matter if he wears the cap or mask as long as he is having fun.

You could also do a cowboy with jeans a plaid shirt and boots, or a lumberjack with a flannel and jeans and a toy axe, or a minion with overalls and a yellow shirt. If he would let you paint his face that would be great. They also have those skeleton shirts that he would wear as well.

I've done those zip hoodies - last year he was Mickey and it was perfect. This year he's a Jedi, just a robe and undershirt.

I have 4yr old twins & one of them wants to be Bob the builder. He is very happy wearing the Melissa & Doug construction vest.
My other son wearing Captn America.

What about fireman/police man?
