halloween ideas for toddler and newborn
My DD will be about 22 months for halloween and I will have a newborn daughter that will be around 1 month old. I would love them to have coordinating cosutmes, but what costumes are there for a 1 month old???
We also live in the south, so I can't do anything too heavy since it is still warm out for halloween.
I did see a pea in a pod costume for a newborn - I was thinking of maybe putting my DD in a princess costume and doing the princess and the pea?
any other suggestions?? I noticed costumes are already getting sold out!

My oldest dd will be 2 and little dd will be 4 months. I've been trying to think of something coordinating too. I may just get them matching costumes.

the princess/pea idea is cute.
what about looking into newborn hats that you can make into a costume with like a coordinating onesie or something comfy
hats
your odd could be alice and baby sister can be the white rabbit
babysister can be a daisy and odd can be a bumblebee

When my DS was 23 months and DD was 2 months I had them be a devil/angel. They looked adorable.

Thank you! These ideas are a big help. I think going with a cute hat for my newborn will probably be the easiest since she will be so tiny.

I've been trying to think of something too. DD1 will be 28 months and DD2 will be 5 months. I asked DD1 what she wanted to be aS we looked thru a halloween catalog and she said "Elmo...or Cookie! Or Abby!" lol. Maybe we will do a Sesame Street "theme". Maybe DD1 can be cookie monster and DD2 can be a cookie?

I did a monkey and a banana last year when my DD was 2 and DS was a few months old.
I found a cute banana bunting so it kept him warn but looked adorable too.

I have a pea in a pod costume that DS will be too big for. It might be too big for a 1 month old but if you want it you can have it

Monkey and banana My oldest was 15 months and DD#2 was 3 weeks old and thats what they were
back in 2007

We did this last year with my DS who was just shy of 2 years and my other DS who was 4 months old.
