Re: Halloween Party?
there is a website that has drinks for all different holidays. I would try google. Off the top of my head: -orange cremesicle -midori sours -apple martinis -blackhouse -the candy corn shot
For decorations, etc I would try oriental trading.

Re: Halloween Party?
Halloween parties can be so much fun.. someone, I think on LIF posted re: black vodka for a Halloween party. Try this There are drink recipes on that site as well. I have been to parties w/silly games like roll your partner as a mummy using toilet paper etc. Any silly game can be instantly more fun if you make it a drinking game ETA: If you do punch, freeze juice in a latex glove, cut away glove, and float hand in punch!!

Re: Halloween Party?
Go for it!! We're having one - it's the highlight of our season.
I usually make a Kool Aid punch w/Vodka/Peach Schnapps. I also freeze up those spider ring thingies into ice cubes and stick those in there.
There's a dollar store in Sun Vet that was selling these cool plastic chalices for everyone's drinks. Grabbed up a bunch of those.
Try Oriental Trading for decorations and stuff. We got some stuff from Party City but it was $$$ and the "creatures" they sell are out of control. I've built some monsters for my house out of cheap masks and such that I had lying around.

Re: Halloween Party?
we're having one too! only a small one though.
we havent started to get decorations though.
i want to get a blacklight for the bathroom with spiderwebs all over in htere....
and im gonna get a fog machine
but im not sure what else were gonna do. we have to go shopping.
we're gonna have scary movies playing on the tv all night long, but music will be louder so its just to look at.....
the spider rings in ice cubes is a great idea.
i didnt think baout doing theme drinks.... maybe ill use some food coloring though.

Re: Halloween Party?
I had one last year and am repeating this year. I remember getting "Vampire" wine. I made punch with the ice cubes with spider in them too.
I can't remember what I did, so I will have to do some research again too!
Ooh i put signs on all the food -
Bone-Chillin’ Chili!!
Devilled Eggs
Bloody Brew
Putrid Pumpkin Soup
Sour-Cream Scrambled Brains
Voodoo Veggies

Re: Halloween Party?
I once made jello worm shots.
You take a empty half gallon carton Put an entire package of straws into the carton and fill with how you would make jello shots.
let solidify and then squeeze out each worm - this is where it got messy for me - I don't think I waited long enough before squeezing them out.
