Hamptons - Help!
My husband wants to throw a big BBQ bash for his 35th birthday at my parent's house in Watermill.. Thing is-- our house can fit up to 12 people comfortably (with pull out couches etc)
MOST of his friends live out in Jersey and of course everyone wants to stay... Does anyone know of any of the 'less expensive' motels I could call for rates? I'm thinking Hampton Bays is ideal.
the party will be during the first wknd of June, so it's not middle of summer/ hamptons craziness
yet...

Re: Hamptons - Help!
Here are a few...
Bowen's on the Bays
Hampton Maid
Inn Spot on the Bay
ETA: The only problem is I don't know the availability these places have. By this time of the year, a lot of people have booked their vacations so they could be sold out.
Is there any way of having people sleep on air mattresses and sleeping bags? It just maybe the way to go...

Re: Hamptons - Help!
You can take a look at these 3 hotels Hampton Resorts The problem with your guests staying in Hampton Bays is that the traffic coming into Southampton anytime during the summer is TERRIBLE! They just put in 2 lanes, so it may be better, but not sure yet Or Southampton Inn

Re: Hamptons - Help!
Ok.. one more suggestion.. depending on the people.. you can also rent a camper and they can sleep at the ocean on the beach.. there is a beach in Southampton that allows campers. They can have bonfires and stuff If you're interested in that I know some people that rent them.
