hand & feet like ICE
This happens every year, as soon as it starts getting cold out. My hands & feet feel so cold that it is literally painful. This isn't just when I'm outside, this is sitting in my house right now. When I touch someone else's skin it's like touching a heater. I can't even touch my own arms/legs/body when changing my clothes because it it's like putting ice on my skin! I wear gloves & thick socks in the house, which doesn't help much because it doesn't make them feel much warmer, they just get sweaty & feel cold & clammy!! I've mentioned it to the doctor but he kind of brushed it off, I should have touched him so he'd realize just how cold my hands get.
Anybody else have EXTREMELY cold hands & feet, like ice?? Is there anything that can be done about it??? I don't want to deal with this every year, I can't wear gloves indoors all the time & this can't be normal.

I think it has to do with circulation. I once went to an acupuncturist who said it would help with that, since I get that very bad too! Unfortunately I never felt a difference

Yup, I have this. To the point where blood will stop flowing to my fingers and toes and they turn white and stiff, like I was dead. And then all of a sudden after a couple of minutes it starts to come back and can be kind of painful.

OMG...I've had this and never knew there was a name for it. The beds of my nails also turn bluish. I've been know to wear knit gloves in my house or at work just to help keep me warm.

There is a test that a vascular doctor can do to confirm the diagnosis. In very severe cases, they can prescribe meds. However, most people just keep their limbs warm.
