I haven't read the whole thing, but I do remember reading that b/c of the alcohol in it, you shouldn't use it on kids.
I've used it on DD's hands maybe 3 times in her 19 months...after playing at a kids' place, like Once Upon A Treetop.
ETA: I do find it weird that they have them on the way into the hospital rooms for when you visit maternity patients...while I agree the concept is good b/c you don't want to spread germs, I would think having people wash their hands (since there IS a sink when you walk in) is much better than rubbing the sanitizer on and then holding a newborn...JMO.

That's why it's banned in many daycares and schools. They've known about this for about a year, I think.
It's still good to post it every once in a while, though.

this is the reason i wish it would have never been released to the general public. when i was in nursing it was for medical personal only. then it went public and nothing really good has come of it.
