AWESOME !
Should definitely do it here in NY.
I had one for my mom, and when she died, it came out of my car. I never used it unless she was with me in the car.
Ditto for the one for MIL.
On a side note, when the renewals came up, all I had to do is mail in a request for a new one. No other paperwork required. If I was dishonest, I would still have the hangtag, 7 years later.

I'd love all the folks here who argued it hurts no one because there are plenty of available handicapped spots or they are only there a second get these $900 tickets.
I'd also like to see big value tickets for weaving in and out of HOV land, using it improperly and for those using phone while driving.
If we crack down and issue bigger tickets the NYS budget would be in better shape.

That is absolutely awesome. As someone who has a father in a wheelchair that needs a tag, nothing aggravates me more than abuse, because often times he is unable to find a spot because of it.
