hanging file folders... i need thick and sturdy ones
i organize my coupon inserts in a box of hanging files. it works awesome for me. i collate the inserts and when i need a coupon, all the copies of the same coupon are together.
the thing is that when i buy a larger number of papers, the extra inserts make it heavy for the hanging folders. i've tried buying plastic ones, but they aren't much better.
has anyone used a hanging file folder that won't bow because of the weight of the paper?

Do you need to save the entire paper or could you just save the coupon inserts and on the first page put a post it note with the name of the paper and the date?
These are very sturdy and hold a lot.http://www.discountofficeitems.com/office-supplies/filing-supplies/folders/bottom-folders/universal-bottom-hanging-file-folders-pressboard-letter-green/p53041.html

i'm sorry it wasn't clear. i only keep the insert. i collate all the copies of the inserts together, that way they are all together. when there are good coupons, i buy more papers. also, sometimes, there are more inserts in a given week. when either of these two things happen, i have a lot more to put into that week's file.
even with the plastic hanging file, the folder bows out of shape because of the weight. i'm looking for something that can handle the weight

The ones I posted hold 25 lbs. Do you think it weighs more? I think your other option would be magazine file folders.

i didn't see that you had edited your reply to add the link.
they definitely are less than 25lbs. that's awesome! they're also much cheaper than something else i had come across.
thanks!
