Hanukkah craft suggestions needed
DS attends preschool at a church, though it is not a relgious program. His teacher approached me to do a Hannukah project with the kids because she got wind that I had done it last year. I don't know what to do this year and I'm serisouly considering doing the same thing I did last year, since DS only has 2 kids from lat year in his class. Last year I glued popscle sticks into Star of Davids. The kids painted glue on them and then we put them in a box of sparkles. We hung them on pipecleaners so they could be used as ornaments too. DS has 24 kids in his class so I need to do something fairly budget friendly. Any suggestions or should I just repeat last years?

I think last year's project is fine. The only other thing I would suggest is finding big plain wooden dreidels and letting the kids decorate with paint and glitter, but I'm sure that would be a lot more expensive.

One of the teachers at DS's school makes menorahs with the kids out of a paper towel roll and popsicle sticks. The kids paint the paper towel roll blue. She cuts 9 slits in it to hold the popsicle sticks which are the candles. They paint those any color they want and then cover about 1/2 inch of one end in glitter. Very easy and cute looking.

Every year in Alex's school the kids make little menorahs out of clay... it's just adorable and I use it to light the candles for Hanukah

Re: Hanukkah craft suggestions needed
pretzel stick, large marshmallow, fluff, chocolate = dredel
tile + nuts + other things to decorate = menorah
go to the disney channel website and they have some downloadable hanukkah crafts.
