Happy Day to everyone!
Funny how the 2 gifts I got were from people that I do virtually nothing for!
I got a little stuffed bear, candy and a card from one person
and a cute pen, notepad and card from someone else.

Happy Admin Day to you! I never get anything either. But when I called in sick today , my boss was very nice and understanding, so I guess that was my Admin day gift. LOL

I bought my secretary a card and gave her a bag filled with tiny bottles of lotions, sprays and bubble bath that I know she appreciates.
However, my Boss is an a$$, cause he forgot about me and her!

Have a great day, everyone!
I literally just got a new secretary yesterday. (For some reason, I had floaters for a few months)... I got her a box of Godiva chocolate and a card and she was shocked! (I guess because she hasn't really done any work for me, yet!) -- but I didn't want to let the day pass unnoticed. Our legal secretaries work SO HARD -- so I consider it a thank you in advance.

So nice that many of your bosses show their appreciation to their assistants, etc.
How's this for a joyful workplace? My Birthday was yesterday and they always have cake for everyone else in my office at noon. For my birthday it obviously was not a big deal b/c they did not get around to having cake until almost 4:00p.m. 
My boss did not even say happy birthday.. oh and this admn professionals day does not exist in my company..
Nice place to work for huh?

I got some nice flowers from my bosses. One of them took me out for a burrito....my idea.
This admin prof day is just crap though. Should we really have to have a formal day to be appreciated?
My bosses do things for me during the year. I'm lucky I guess.
One of the other managers saw my flowers and realized he didn't do anything for his admin. I suggested lunch out next week and some chocolates delivered to her home.
