Happy Hour....
Friends are arriving from Boston today at 4pm. After a long drive they want to go to Happy Hour somewhere close to my home (no more driving). I usually just go to Hemingway's when staying local but does anyone know any fun happy hours? We are all 40 years old... so that may make a difference...
Wantagh/Seaford/Levittown area..

Savannah's has a good happy hour. We are going to mUlcahey's tonight (definately a mixed crowd) so we can meet some friends and watch the beginning of the Nova game, plus they usually have some good bands. You can also try the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale.

Try Johnny McGorey's in Massapequa Park. Its located directly in front of the train station. Its a mix of people young and old and its in a very relaxed setting. Have fun!!

Thanks -- DH had suggested Mulcahys' but I haven't been there is about 20 years!!

We can't go to the Wantagh Inn ever again -- a co-worker of DH's goes there with her friend after work and they get sheet-faced. Like all the time. We met up with them once (before knowing this) and they were yelling at the waitstaff, and making obnoxious comments, it was so embarassing. I am just afraid we would run into them again!! And then make excuses for never ever wanting to meet up again, lol.
