Happy Pancake Day!
Did you know that today is Pancake Day in France today? Rather than celebrate Groundhog's day the French celebrate the coming of Spring with the crepe!
Doesn't it make SO much more sense? The crepe looks like the sun!
Cheesy, yes. But it's one of my fondest memories from living in France!

Re: Happy Pancake Day!
See now in Ireland it's on Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday is considered Pancake Tuesday. (It's the day before Ash Wednesday) So, I will be making pancakes on Tuesday.

We don't have that here (Oz). Or I have never heard of it. Maybe b/c it is summer here.

I don't know about France, but in the UK, Pancake Day is the equivalent of Fat Tuesday. People made pancakes in an effort to get rid of all of the fat and cream in the house before Lent begins.
