Re: Harbes for Pumpkin Picking
I think I went to the Middle Earth Pumpkin Farm on Saturday. We were supposed to go the one in Mattituck but somehow my sister drove us to this one
I would not suggest going there, all they had was a pumpkin field (perfect pumpkins though) and a corn maze. Not much else for the little ones.

The one on the Main Road in Jamesport get SWARMS of people. I just drove by there this morning and it looks like there are still a lot of pumpkins out in the field. I don't know the quality though.

I like the one on Sound Ave. Michael likes it there because he gets to feed the animals, pet them, play on the slide, etc.

Re: Harbes for Pumpkin Picking
Thanks everyone! We'll stick with Jamesport and see how it goes. I think we are looking more for the first time experience with Lucas and pic opportunities than for the actual pumpkins - but it sounds like we will get the best of both!

Re: Harbes for Pumpkin Picking
We went to the Jamesport one (on Rt 25). There are a lot of things for the kids. 8 acre corn maze, plus an activity area with a hay fort, things for very little kids, some sort of pedal trikes. Plus hay rides, live entertainment. They had potato sack races and everyone who participated got $1 off coupons. Live entertainment. etc, etc.
