Harbor County, Ivy League, Laurel Hill
Anyone have experience with any of the above mentioned schools? These are the final three contenders for DS's pre-school and I'm hoping to get feedback from any of you. TIA!

Re: Harbor County, Ivy League, Laurel Hill
I worked at Laurel Hill many years ago. It's a great school! I would have sent my son there for preschool this year, but it's not convenient.
I also worked for Ivy League. No comment.
I looked into Harbor Country for camp for next year. Seems really nice!
Hope that helps!

Re: Harbor County, Ivy League, Laurel Hill
I live in the area. I think they all have pretty good reputations. That said, I have used Ivy League and have to agree with the other poster's "no comment." I can say that I didn't send my youngest there, only my oldest.
I have friends who have used Laurel Hill and Harbor Country for pre K and camp and were happy.
ETA: I think some of the costs associated with more expensive pre schools are not worth it. My youngest went to a more local, touchy feely type of program and I was much happier (it was a full day program). The second time around, I decided to save the extra money for camp.

Re: Harbor County, Ivy League, Laurel Hill
, I had an interview at Ivy League too and had the same "no comment" reaction, but now as a mom, I've had several other moms rave about this place so I was trying to look at it from a different perspective. Thanks for all your feedback!

Re: Harbor County, Ivy League, Laurel Hill
Cole went to Harbor Country last year for the 2 year old program and I absolutely LOVED it. Unfortunately the teacher moved out of state and their enrollment was down this year so we chose to send him to montessori because we felt he needed a larger class size (over 8 kids). We toured laurel hill, and it was not the right fit for our family. Too academic and not nearly social enough for 3 and 4 year olds. I thought Harbor had the perfect balance -- a very sensory based whole child approach to learning. Their staff really impressed me and I really liked the other families as well. Def. our top choice for next year pre-K. and hopefully Kindergarden as well. Sorry, I didnt look at Ivy League personally, but I know someone whose son has Autism and goes there with a SEIT and she raves about it.
