Hard plastic pool w/ slide
Anyone know where I can find one? I googled it and can't seem to find anything, weird! not even toys r us.
My DH wants to pick one up today for the beach club, so I would rather not order one, thanks!

Re: Hard plastic pool w/ slide
I don't know where you can get one, but beware.
When I was little, around 6 years old, my mom was sitting on the slide with her feet in the water. She decided to go down the little slide, but slid so fast. She put her legs out to stop herself, and her foot went right through the side. We said, "OH MOM!!!!" That ended our pool time when the pool no longer held water.

My neighbor gave us there. The slide is hard and the kids loved it (we used it at Jack's party.) I think she said she got it at Kmart

I know Step 2 and Little Tykes used to make them but have since discontinued. Sometimes you can find them on Craigslist.
I'm also looking for a pool but can't find anything of better quality. All I find are soft plastic or inflatable. I don't like any of the pools from TRU but might have to settle for one.

THis pool was THE BEST!!!! It was a pain to get home and it took forever to drain (was too heavy to dump) but as far as a pool goes..it was fantastic.

We got probably the same one from the Islandia Wal-Mart about 2 weeks ago, there were a few left. Noticed there was a small crack in the bottom of it after we got it home though Hopefully we can repair it
I didn't check out the slide part that closely but I'm hoping it will work for DD.

I should mention that in the customer service area there were 4 pools that had been returned as damaged...(I think DH didnt want to risk having to bring the darn thing back...)
